Shipping policy

We charge £9.95 for delivery via our courier APC to make sure your order reaches you in perfect condition. Deliveries to Scotland have a higher delivery cost of £16.95.

Our courier will normally deliver between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted (usually dispatched within 2 working days).

Deliveries to England, Wales and Scotland will be next day. Deliveries to the Scottish highlands and Islands will take 2-5 days. 

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to Northern Ireland. 

If you know you will not be at the delivery address on the date and time of delivery, you will have the option via email or phone to direct the courier to leave your order in a safe place, however, please note that if you select this option you will need to accept full responsibility for the shipment.

Please note that at times of the year when high volumes of orders are being placed, e.g. Christmas, we cannot always guarantee delivery within the usual timeframe as we are dependent on the courier.

Please let us know via email at orders@birchdenvineyards.co.uk if you have a tight deadline for delivery and we will do our best to get it to you on time.

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when we have received payment in full for the goods and they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss, damage or destruction.
