Join us for a special classic car and motor meet among the Bacchus vines at Birchden Vineyards. The Blackbird Café will be open serving delicious brunch rolls and refreshments throughout the morning. Visitors are warmly welcome to come along
and enjoy the cars and atmosphere.

Are you looking for a fun family activity this month? Join us for a morning of bird spotting around the vineyards and lakes, guided by our resident bird expert Siobhan.

Ticket price includes a hot drink and pastry, bird checklist, and a welcome talk. There are over 48 species on our land, see how many you can spot!

Children are very welcome, we will have a bird watchers checklist and quiz. We do not provide binoculars so please bring your own if you have some.

Join us at the Blackbird Cafe for a relaxed summer evening of local live music and delicious food.

Chef Tommy will be serving a Moroccan-inspired BBQ buffet at the Blackbird Café with fresh seasonal salads and sides. We’re also delighted to welcome a fantastic line-up of local musicians to soundtrack the evening while you settle in on the decking and enjoy the sunset. (And yes, we’ll have rain cover ready in case the British summer surprises us!)

Wrap up warm as the evening cools, order a glass of something delicious, and spend the night eating, drinking and soaking up the atmosphere.

Join an immersive outdoor oil painting workshop in the vineyard with local artist Gabriel Knollys.

Surrounded by rolling vines, woodland and lakes, you’ll
explore colour, light, texture and pattern while painting in nature. With Gabriel’s expert, encouraging guidance, you’ll build confidence as you work and leave not only refreshed and inspired, but with a finished painting to take home, something uniquely yours and genuinely worth hanging on the wall.

Autumn brings a special kind of beauty to Birchden Vineyards, with golden vines, harvest colours and breath taking countryside views at every turn.

Join us this Halloween for a magical family adventure, where you are invited to help uncover a seasonal mystery hidden amongst the vines. Guided by the Keeper of the Vineyard Tales, children will set off in search of Birchden Vineyards’ beloved animal characters to collect pieces of the Harvest Moon story and help prepare for the animals' annual autumn gathering.

There will be pumpkin picking along the vineyard rows, a craft station to create your own special charm keepsake, giant marshmallow toasting and pumpkin painting back at the barn.

Grown-ups can relax and enjoy the atmosphere, taking in views across the vineyard and enjoying seasonal drinks, warming coffees, comforting food, Halloween treats and, of course, wine from the estate.

Come and experience the beauty of the vineyard in autumn and make some special memories with your family along the way.  

A mindful morning at Birchden Vineyards, in collaboration with Yoga Fusion with Wendy and watercolour artist Gaby.

Begin your day with a gentle yoga session overlooking the lake, before settling into a guided watercolour workshop surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the vineyard. Yoga Mats will be provided but feel free to bring your own.

Your ticket includes all materials, a hot drink and a healthy treat to enjoy while you paint.

Browse bee-related stalls, sample delicious local honey, and learn more about beekeeping, biodiversity and the vital role bees play in our countryside.

The Blackbird Café will be open throughout the day, serving freshly roasted coffee, crêpes and delicious lunches.
