'TIS NEARLY THE SEASON

Can we possibly mention the C-word now it's November? You may well be getting into party planning mode for the festive season, so it’s a good opportunity to share details about our food pairing events in partnership with Purple Pumpkin catering. 

Our first event in Tunbridge Wells recently was a great success, it was so rewarding to see the Birchden Vineyards' wines being enjoyed as people caught up with friends and made merry for the evening.  

The wines have been beautifully paired with tasty food to best complement the flavours. Smoked salmon, caviar and dill with our Foxy Vixen rosé is a particular delight, and the chefs have also come up with the perfect chocolate and cherry truffle to go with the guest red Pinot Noir from Knightor in Cornwall. You wouldn't necessarily think it works, but boy it really does!  

If you book a private lunch or dinner experience, you'd have exclusive use of our cosy Tasting Den while you celebrate the season with friends and family. Or we can come to you!

If you want to host the event here, we recommend 8-10 guests for the four course dining experience, and 10-16 is a good number for the light lunch pairing menu (though we can do this one at supper time too, if you like!), we're happy to be flexible so let us know what you've got in mind.
