Our first vineyard tour of the season is coming up on Saturday 1st March, and we can’t wait to get started.
This year, some of our tours will be run in partnership with our friends at the Spa Valley Heritage Railway, and you can arrive in style aboard a steam train or heritage diesel. It will feel like stepping back in time.
We think this is the perfect pairing – a gentle and scenic steam train ride from Tunbridge Wells West station, alighting at Groombridge to join us for a tour and tasting, and then back on the train for your return journey to Tunbridge Wells.
As you arrive with us, we’ll take for a wander through our Pinot Noir vineyard, past the lakes, through the wildflower meadow, through the Bacchus vineyard and then back up to the Tasting Den. We will explain our growing and winemaking process as we go, and finish with a guided tasting.
The tour and tasting experience lasts an hour-and-a-half, though you are welcome to stay as long as you like for a glass of wine and some nibbles or charcuterie. Coffee and crêpes are available from the coffee truck too.
We have been busy bees getting everything ready. Now we just need the weather to play ball. Keeping everything crossed!
