AUTUMN MEANS MELTED CHEESE AND DELICIOUS SOUPS

AUTUMN MEANS MELTED CHEESE AND DELICIOUS SOUPS

Autumn has arrived at The Blackbird Café, and with it a brand-new seasonal menu full of comfort and delicious flavours.

Each week, we’ll be serving a soup of the season, made in-house with the best local produce and served alongside fresh bread. We’ll also have a cake of the week (made by Vineyard Vixen Sally), plus Sally’s homemade mince pies, which are a fabulous way to get into the festive mood.

The other very exciting news is that our Autumn and Winter weekends will mean raclette — irresistible, gooey melted cheese poured over hot potatoes or crusty bread, served the traditional way with cornichons and onions. It’s the perfect way to warm up after a bracing walk or vineyard tour, and will definitely get you in the mood to hit the slopes (of Sussex)!

You’ll still find all the usual favourites on the menu too: crêpes, galettes, charcuterie boards and barista-made hot drinks, all best enjoyed in our new heated marquee.
